Denotation:
The advertisement I am analysing is a Robinsons advert that highlights growing up. There is a baby who transforms into a toddler then into a teen, finally ending with a man.

-Low Angle-when camera is recording bays face

Sound/music
-Fun and up beat music that gives us the connotation that the advert is going to promote something positive and not negative.
mise en scene
-Father and son playing football, suggests that this is a family friendly advertisement.
-The actual product, highlighting its importance and a refreshing juice that gives the boy energy, also it is used multiple times as the boy grows older. Gives the impression that Robinsons has been a longstanding product that will be with families throughout time.
editing
-Nice quick shot changes between clips, makes advertisement look fluid and flows well.

-They grow up fast-
-Play thirsty
connotation
-Gives us connotations that Robinsons has been here throughout peoples lifetimes and will be a vital part of a child's life. Gives impression that it is very popular and is refreshing.

-Robinsons is a brand known worldwide and will be for a very long time
social/cultural context
- It has also became the best selling children still ready to drink beverage in the UK, which directly links to the advert because of the main actor(s) being children.
