Essay Jenkins noted that media post 2000 has accelerated participatory culture, in which audiences are active and creative participants rather than passive consumers, as they create online communities, set up events and create modifications to expressive their creativity, and these types of mods have been made in the multi-platform game: Minecraft, where mods (modifications) are regularly occurring and are posted online on various social media platforms such as Youtube. There are some games which are cross-platform and are published in various different gaming devices. One such game is, Minecraft, which is available on Playstation, Xbox, PC, & IOS. This convergence has also led to the development of different individuals playing the sam game on different consoles.
